The Russia conspiracy theory so beloved by the media and the Democratic Party fell apart this week — though it was easy to miss, amidst the chaos at the White House and the collapse of Congress’s effort to repeal Obamacare.
Investor William Browder testified at the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday that Fusion GPS, the firm that had been responsible for creating and pushing the so-called “Russia dossier” against Donald Trump, had been paid by the Russian government to push for the repeal of the human rights sanctions in the Magnitsky Act of 2012. In other words, the Russian government may have been paying to smear Trump with false and salacious accusations.
Until now, the media and the Democrats have proceeded under the assumption that Russia intervened in the 2016 election by hacking the email server of the Democratic National Committee, as well as the private email of Hillary Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, and releasing their emails via Wikileaks. They have further claimed — with no evidence — that the Trump campaign may have colluded with the Russians in obtaining or releasing the emails.
The entire theory rests on the ridiculous claim that Trump had invited Russia to hack Clinton and the Democrats when he joked last July about the Russians releasing the emails Clinton had deleted from her illicit private server. (The left-wing HuffPost observed Thursday as the anniversary that Trump “asked for Russian help in the election.”) That joke prompted then-CIA director John Brennan to convene an investigation of alleged Russian interference.
In fact, it turns out that Russia may have been trying to undermine Trump. And it may have done so in collusion with the Democrats. The Wall Street Journal‘s Kimberly Strassel noted Thursday that Fusion GPS has ties to the Democrats — and will not reveal who paid it for the dossier. Strassel asked: “What if it was the Democratic National Committee or Hillary Clinton’s campaign?” The money could have passed through intermediaries, she added.
That means the real story of collusion in the 2016 election could be that Democrats were working with Russia. And that would make sense, given their long history of appeasing the Russians, under both Clinton and Barack Obama.
Or the truth could be that Russia was trying to embarrass both parties, to weaken the eventual winner. Browder told the Senate Judiciary Committee that it is common for Russia to back both sides in elections, simply to create chaos.
Regardless, the Russia conspiracy theory has now collapsed. There is no evidence that Russia was colluding with the Trump campaign. But there is evidence Russia was working against it. And the truth is only beginning to emerge.

(CNSNews.com) - On July 14, government watchdog Judicial Watch released 448 pages of documents from the U. S. State Department indicating that Huma Abedin, the deputy chief of staff to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (2009-13), provided special treatment to Clinton Foundation donors.
Among these documents were six email exchanges that Hillary Clinton did not turn over to the State Department, although she had previously sworn that all such emails had been turned over, said Judicial Watch.
This brings Judicial Watch’s tally of newly discovered emails that Clinton did not release to 439. Judicial Watch received these documents from the State Department after filing a lawsuit in May 5, 2015. The lawsuit required all emails “of official State department business received or sent by former Deputy Chief of staff Huma Abedin from January 1, 2009 through February 1, 2013 using a non-‘state.gov’ email addresses.” (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State, No. 1:15-cv-00684)
Abedin’s emails show that donors to the Clinton Foundation put in special requests to the Clinton State Department. On June 19, 2009, Hillary Clinton’s brother, Tony Rodham, emailed a letter to Abedin from Richard Park, a donor to the Clinton Foundation since 1993, to be passed on to the Secretary of State.
In another email dated July 2009, Doug Band, the head of Clinton Global Initiative, sent an email to Abedin saying that she “Need[s] to show a little love” to Andrew Liveris, the CEO of Dow Chemical, an organization that gave between 1 million and 5 million dollars to the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative.
Band also requested that Clinton give a speech at a ceremony in honor of Karlheinz Koegel. He founded the Media Control Gmbh, a provider of entertainment data. In 2008, Bill Clinton received $250,000 honoraria from the group and, as Fox News reported, Koegel donated between $100,001 to $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation.
The emails show donors also asked Abedin for help in obtaining visas for foreigners. In May of 2009, Band requested such help for Michael Cohl, a Canadian concert promoter and Clinton Foundation donor.
Likewise, on Nov. 14, 2009, Ben Ringel, another Foundation donor, asked over email for assistance in getting an Iranian woman a visa to enter the United States.
In another series of emails, donors and other connections discuss government positions with Abedin.
An August 2009 email discussed the position of ambassador to Barbados, while another presents a recommendation from Saleha Abedin, Huma Abedin’s mother and Islamic activist, about the U.S. Envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Judicial Watch also obtained emails that discuss government affairs and national security in private emails.
Abedin titled a May 2009 email “The Secretary’s Phone Call with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang,” which is marked “sensitive but unclassified,” as is one titled “The Secretary’s Phone Call with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov.”
In one of the email series on June 8, Clinton and her aides, including Abedin, discuss a cabinet meeting.
In another sent June 4, 2009, Abedin wrote the location of President Obama, while she included Clinton’s schedule for July 26 in another.

"You get leaks — and I am not excusing leaks in any way — but you get leaks when people feel they have exhausted all the means with the government to make their voices heard. People leak when they lost all alternatives… And so, I think we're getting these leaks because of the atmosphere within the administration itself. If you want to stop the leaks, change the atmosphere," Hayden said on late Saturday.
From his point of view, it is necessary to develop channels of communication to prevent the leaks.
"So my policy in the agency was to simply open up the communications with the work force. I gave them my email account. I am not suggesting the president do that — but I gave them my email account and I answered to everyone of them. And I got thousands in a couple of weeks. And then they became to taper off and so did the leaks," Hayden added.
On Thursday, the WikiLeaks whistleblowing platform released new documents within the Vault 7 series that contain information on the CIA hacking tools. The first batch from the Vault 7 project containing a total of 8,761 documents was
released in March.

This is in response to the editorial July 13, titled “The Trump-Russia probe is not a witch hunt.”
The editorial fails to identify a single piece of evidence of anything other than a meeting between Trump representatives and a Russian lawyer in which no information nor money changed hands. Nothing happened.
The Bee published a New York Times News Service report in 2015 on how the Russians obtained control over 20 percent of American uranium.

Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four undisclosed donations totaling $2.35 million. ... Bill Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.”

A Wall Street Journal Editor who was investigating how a Russian Pharmaceutical firm could have been purchased in 2014 by an American Pharmaceutical firm while Sanctions against Russia existed against such business transactions, has been found dead in his New York City apartment. The crux of the dead journalists investigation was how then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton influenced the transaction to be finalized, but only AFTER her husband Bill was paid $500,000 for giving a speech in Moscow.
The Russia Consulate General’s office in New York City was contacted by Wall Street Journal reporter/editor Joseph Rago who requested a Thursday (20 July) in person interview with consular officials regarding an upcoming article he was preparing on Hillary Clinton and her links to Russia. Rago failed to attend the meeting and was later discovered dead in his apartment of as yet “unknown causes” just hours prior to this meeting occurring.
Joseph Rago was a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter whose expertise was in the health care field. His stated purpose for this meeting was his investigating Hillary Clinton’s links to the 2014 sale of Veropharm (one of Russia’s largest medical companies) to the American medical giant Abbott Laboratories.

As the world still mourns the loss of legendary Audioslave and Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, more information begins to emerge that adds further speculation about his suspicious, premature death.
Rockstar Cornell worked closely with various foundations to help and protect children from pedophilia and child trafficking.
Speaking to TMD, a source close to Cornell has come forward claiming that he had uncovered evidence of a “cocaine and child trafficking ring“ in Mena, Arkansas, that was tied to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

So this clearly shows Chris was in a pretty good mood, and already thinking beyond Wednesday night. Chris’ wife, Vicky, stated for the record he showed absolutely no signs of depression or being suicidal in the hours before he was found dead.
The final hours of his life are what is being heavily disputed between a family that doesn’t believe he would have intentionally taken his own life and the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office, which declared his death a suicide by hanging.
It’s important to note that among his many charities, he supported ChildHaven, which helps children and toddlers heal from abuse and neglect. Based in Seattle, Childhaven was established in 1909 by the Reverend Mark Matthews as the Seattle Day Nursery, one of the first 50 childcare centers in the United States.
The center treats over 400 infants and preschool children each year who are referred by CPS (Child Protective Services). Its therapeutic care is provided daily to abused, neglected and at-risk children between the ages of one month through five years.
ChildHaven provides nurturing experiences that aid in development. The center also features specializes care for infants and preschoolers to overcome residual effects of parents prior substance abuse either in-utero or environmentally. THE END OF THE LINE FOR OUR HERO
About an hour before he was found deceased, Cornell had walked off stage with his bandmates about 11:15 p.m. to the raucous cheers of a sellout crowd of more than 5,200 fans.
Within 15 minutes, Cornell was back in Room 1136 at the MGM, where bodyguard Martin Kirsten assisted in helping fix the rock star’s computer and gave him two doses of an anti-anxiety medicine, according to the official police report.
Still on a rush of adrenaline pumping through is veins from performing at a rock show not even twenty minutes ago, Chris was full of life still.
At around 11:35 p.m., Cornell got on the phone with his wife. We next know Vicky called Kirsten the bodyguard at 12:15 a.m., and asked him to check on her husband. The bodyguard went to the room and found the door locked, the report said. Kirsten kicked the door open, only to find a second door leading to the bedroom suite also was latched — so, the report said, he kicked that door open, too, and found Cornell dead. As of this point, no suicide note has been found. Chris was still wearing all of his clothing. This eliminates the self-pleasuring gone wrong scenario.
Speaking in a statement released on Friday, Vicky said that she is determined to get to the bottom of her husband’s death, explaining: “What happened is inexplicable, and I am hopeful that further medical reports will provide additional details.”
“I know that he loved our children, and he would not hurt them
by intentionally taking his own life.”
Following his sold-out show in Detroit, Chris – reportedly appeared “happy and normal” as he met with fans and posed for selfies. Chris’ family are working closely with the medical examiner to determine the exact cause of his death.
A private funeral for Chris was held on Friday, May 26 in Los Angeles.
His body was flown from Michigan to Los Angeles, and Chris was laid to rest at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, the sources said. The sources also told CNN, “The family is thinking about a (public) memorial for fans, but is coping now with their loss and the funeral service.”

Going all the way back to his start on earth, Cornell’s father came from a Catholic background, and his mother was Jewish. Technically that would make him Jewish, but he did not practice that religion. The Soundgarden frontman went to a Catholic school when he was growing up, and it didn’t go so well. His mother removed him before he would be kicked out.
“It wasn’t for any specific reason other than we asked a lot of questions. . . . Not only did they not have the answers, but it was sort of considered to be rude [to ask]. . . . If somebody tells you this is this and that’s the way things are and shut up, you’re a kid.”
In his final years, he did not follow any particular religion but instead remained vague. He said he believes there are “a lot of really cool ideas,” but described himself as a “free thinker” and “open.”
“So many bad things–as well as good things–have happened based on people blindly following religion, that I kind of feel like I want to stay away from any type of specific denomination or any religion period, for no other reason than just that.”

The late vocalist was fully anticipating SOUNDGARDEN’s next concert stop after Detroit … and shared his feelings with the crowd during his last rock show.

Later on, Chris and the band were about to start an encore that final gig, then he went on about how amazing Detroit fans had been, saying, “I feel a little bit sorry for the next f***ing place we play.” They were set to play Friday in Columbus, Ohio and Chris joked he’ll have to tell fans there, “You should have been at that Detroit show. That crowd was something.”
So this clearly shows Chris was in a pretty good mood, and already thinking beyond Wednesday night. Chris’ wife, Vicky, stated for the record he showed absolutely no signs of depression or being suicidal in the hours before he was found dead.
The final hours of his life are what is being heavily disputed between a family that doesn’t believe he would have intentionally taken his own life and the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office, which declared his death a suicide by hanging.
It’s important to note that among his many charities, he supported ChildHaven, which helps children and toddlers heal from abuse and neglect. Based in Seattle, Childhaven was established in 1909 by the Reverend Mark Matthews as the Seattle Day Nursery, one of the first 50 childcare centers in the United States.
The center treats over 400 infants and preschool children each year who are referred by CPS (Child Protective Services). Its therapeutic care is provided daily to abused, neglected and at-risk children between the ages of one month through five years.
ChildHaven provides nurturing experiences that aid in development. The center also features specializes care for infants and preschoolers to overcome residual effects of parents prior substance abuse either in-utero or environmentally. Its crisis nursery provides free, voluntary services to parents in crisis.
THE END OF THE LINE FOR OUR HERO
About an hour before he was found deceased, Cornell had walked off stage with his bandmates about 11:15 p.m. to the raucous cheers of a sellout crowd of more than 5,200 fans.
Within 15 minutes, Cornell was back in Room 1136 at the MGM, where bodyguard Martin Kirsten assisted in helping fix the rock star’s computer and gave him two doses of an anti-anxiety medicine, according to the official police report.
Still on a rush of adrenaline pumping through is veins from performing at a rock show not even twenty minutes ago, Chris was full of life still.
At around 11:35 p.m., Cornell got on the phone with his wife. We next know Vicky called Kirsten the bodyguard at 12:15 a.m., and asked him to check on her husband. The bodyguard went to the room and found the door locked, the report said. Kirsten kicked the door open, only to find a second door leading to the bedroom suite also was latched — so, the report said, he kicked that door open, too, and found Cornell dead. As of this point, no suicide note has been found. Chris was still wearing all of his clothing. This eliminates the self-pleasuring gone wrong scenario.
Speaking in a statement released on Friday, Vicky said that she is determined to get to the bottom of her husband’s death, explaining: “What happened is inexplicable, and I am hopeful that further medical reports will provide additional details.”
“I know that he loved our children, and he would not hurt them
by intentionally taking his own life.”
Following his sold-out show in Detroit, Chris – reportedly appeared “happy and normal” as he met with fans and posed for selfies. Chris’ family are working closely with the medical examiner to determine the exact cause of his death.
A private funeral for Chris was held on Friday, May 26 in Los Angeles.
His body was flown from Michigan to Los Angeles, and Chris was laid to rest at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, the sources said. The sources also told CNN, “The family is thinking about a (public) memorial for fans, but is coping now with their loss and the funeral service.”

Obama not only did not stop the spying on Americans by the NSA but actually ramped up the surveillance efforts.
There is even an account of an American’s name being looked up with the same search query every day for an entire year. That sounds like an abuse of power if there ever was one.
The list of American civil liberty protections that Obama and the NSA under him violated includes according to The Hill:
And this is the same NSA that is saying that Russia hacked our election.
Hmm. Interesting that they have the same story as Obama.
It didn’t take Obama long to start these egregious actions of privacy violation either with them dating all the way back to 2009 through the end of his presidency in 2016.
This is yet another example of how Obama has been caught abusing his power and gotten away with it.

This Is Why Natalia Veselnitskaya Was in New York
She came to Trump Tower straight from a hearing at an American appeals court, reported on here for the first time—and she was at both of them for the same reason.
Just before her now-infamous meeting on June 9 of last year with Donald Trump Jr. at Trump Tower, Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya was in court as a former U.S. attorney general tried to pull off an audacious legal maneuver against the U.S. government.
The meeting, arranged after Trump Jr. was offered information to “incriminate Hillary” as part “of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump,” had originally been scheduled for 3 p.m., but was moved back an hour because “the Russian government attorney” had to be in court that afternoon, according to the email thread arranging it.
That was the same day that Michael Mukasey, who served as attorney general under George W. Bush, appeared before a panel of three judges on the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit to argue that Prevezon—the Kremlin-tied company then charged with hiding a fraction of a $230 million Russian tax scheme in Manhattan luxury real estate—should be allowed to keep a lawyer it had effectively poached from the other side.
Veselnitskaya, who represented the company’s owner as it prepared to defend itself at trial, did not register an official appearance with the appeals court, and the SDNY declined to comment on her presence there. A recording of the proceeding, obtained by The Daily Beast, makes clear that both of her stops in Manhattan that day—in court and then in Trump Tower—were part of the same aggressive Kremlin campaign to try and overturn the Magnitsky Act, which infuriated President Vladimir Putin by imposing sanctions on 44 prominent Russians.
Ultimately the panel ruled against Prevezon, deeming the circumstances were “truly are extraordinary” and removing the lawyer, saying his presence would “taint” the trial.
Their unanimous judgment wasn’t handed down until October 2016, but Veselnitskaya may well have realized from the probing nature of the judges’ questions that the hearing had not gone well by the time she left the court building at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge and made her way uptown to Trump Tower.
At the meeting there, where Clinton dirt had been promised, Veselnitskaya and Rinat Akhmetshin reportedly asked Trump’s son, son-in-law, and campaign manager to soften U.S. sanctions on Russia in exchange for an end to the ban on American adoptions of Russian orphans passed in retaliation for those sanctions.
