WHICH STATES:
In the wake of the electoral victory of the Ecuadorian presidential candidate of the opposition party CREO, Guillermo Lasso, the founder of the unveiling platform WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, is to be given 30 days to leave the Ecuadorian embassy in London, as the newspaper "The Guardian" reports .
"The Ecuadorian people pay a price that it should not pay. We will ask after receiving a mandate from Mr Assange politely, the message within 30 days to leave, "said Lasso opposite the leaf .
For Assange it was time to settle his own life, because his asylum in the embassy cost the country too much and was no longer justified.
Regardless of who is elected President in Ecuador on 19 February, the likelihood is that Assange will have to leave the country where he has been living for more than four years.
"Our employees have gone through a lot. This is probably the most-watched message on the planet, "the paper quotes the Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Guillaume Long.
According to Long, Assange lives in one of the four office rooms of the Embassy. Although the WikiLeaks founder himself describes the relationship to the staff as "familiär", it comes off
and quite to frictions.
The WikiLeaks founder sought refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy in London in 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden. There, the Australian is accused of rape and sexual harassment. The journalist, however, disputes his debt. Assange also fears that the Swedish authorities will continue to send him to the United States, where the death penalty may be threatened by the publication of explosive information.
PERHAPS THE RECENT "MOVING" ACTIVITIES AT THE EMBASSY WERE PART OF ASSANGE'S PROACTIVE "PLAN AHEAD" "PLAN B"
